Has anyone taken UCLA extension post-bacc courses for GPA repair and successfully gotten into med school? Or know anyone who has?
I am in that situation right now and I am curious to hear what med schools/interviewers thought about UCLA extension and its credibility. I am only looking to take six classes or so there over the course of the next 3 quarters to get myself over the 3.5 hump. I've been thinking that this is my best option for the DIY post-bacc route, and not going to lie i was thinking that the UCLA name would help me somehow, at least more than CC or cal states in the area. I didn't apply to formal post baccs due to money. Ive heard some negative things about extension so I want to make sure its a good choice to make for me before I pay..

I'm newly graduated from UCI, 3.44 cGPA/sGPA. MCAT pending
