Hmmm...
So, December is just around the corner & I still haven't heard anything from UCLA.
Do you think there's still a chance of getting into this school?
I know they start the review of their applications rather late in the cycle, but I'm just freakin' out.
Any thoughts?!
I know there's no definite answer to my question. I just wanna see what others think!

a couple of people on here already got an interview invite on that other thread. Other than that no news thus far outside of SDN and predents. If it makes you feel better my D3 friend over there hates it lol bc he told me he's had to pay ppl to be patients due to Cali budget cuts. No idea on the full details on that info; simply what he told me.

Tnx for your input. But I simply don't care about Cali budget cuts (which will definitely affect UCLA's dental program as well). I just wanna go there!😛

Yeah, I think you still have a chance. If you look at last year's applicants on predents.com, people who interviewed in April were accepted. I think UCLA just moves more slowly than most schools.

You helped a lot of people on SDN study for the DAT, so I'm definitely rooting for you. Good luck!

Hey, my friends at LA right now and said they interview very few people so that around 80-90% of their interviewed students end up attending there. So they give out very few interviews basically . Good luck!

UCLA DENTAL SCHOOL is ok dental school, they only have the name.
Don't be too fixate on the name, it make your life miserable.

I don't think that's necessarily true! I interviewed there last year, and there were ~ 20 people. I wouldn't say this is a small number.
I think they just interview people at a slower rate, but on the other hand, they go all the way to May-April to interview people (Which sucks, because if you don't get anything pre-Jan, you still don't know whether or not you're rejected for sure).
