Where would you go for undergrad?

money really isn't a big factor as my parents will be paying for my undergraduate education


what I really want to know is if UCLA and UC Berkeley are your only 2 options, which one would you choose to go to?

I went to Cal, but UCLA is a great school too. To be honest, just go where you will be happy. If you are from NorCal, I'd probably go with UCLA just to experience living in LA. If you are from SoCal, vice versa. Or if you just really love the cool, hip, urban town like Berkeley and you are from NorCal like me, then go to Cal. If you just love LA's party scene, beaches, hollywood and you are from SoCal, go to UCLA.

In the end, you can't go wrong either way. Just make sure you study hard whereever you are so you can get into D-school.

i saw your previous post about this same question. It mentioned that you hated the Berkeley campus, if youre gonna be there for 2-4 years, I would highly recommend going to UCLA. Plus, if youre planning to go into dental school, might as well go to UCLA as they have a dental program there which im sure will offer a number of volunteering experiences.

If youre basing the schools off academic standards, well, either school is great and you really cant go wrong with either one. Both are public universities so huge lectures and such, so its not like you are comparing a public vs. private school.
