😵 Upper division courses like those aren't even offered in CCs here in Colorado, AFAIK.

Hey thanx for replying...well i heard most med schools have a problem with cc students taking their pre requistes at a cc instead of a 4yr....
do u think biochem is a good class for this major? for example, i went to assist.org and on some cc it says that biochem is required while other cc dont even offer
and since i will be a transfer, do i need to apply to UCLA and the college of letters and transfers seperately?
my last question is: which do u think is btr for this major and/or a bio major? Physics for life science majors:mechanics OR Physics for scientists and engineers:Mechanics?
this is on assist.org THANK YOU

LOL i know..i go to a CA cc and i meant lower division classes hahaha

If you decide to take all your pre-reqs at UCLA, you will not graduate college in 4 years.

You can complete IGETC, transfer, then take pre-reqs, declare MIMG, then do all the MIMG courses.

I went to a CA cc, then transferred to UCLA as MIMG. I did IGETC and the majority of my pre-reqs at my cc, then transferred and completed the rest at ucla.

u did? and how did it turn out for u? what i mean is that did u have a harder time at UCLA?
well in summer 09 it will be my 2nd yr in a cc, yet my counselor has told me at SMC that it will take at least 3 yrs total to finish my pre requistes and i hope med school wont have a problem with it....
what CA cc did u go to? and were u a regular transfer? or did u join a TAP program?
