I was wondering after reading the UCLA acceptance thread that 150-180 applicants are interviewed per year. Has anyone interviewed yet for the entering class of 2007 for UCLA and already have received an official rejection letter? Has anyone received an alternate list letter from UCLA?

In the absence of responses, can I assume that there are no SDNers who have interviewed with UCLA have been rejected or placed on a wait list? How about with UCSF?

UCSF doesn't send out rejections after interview until march when they have filled their class. Read the bottoms of the webtools site where you check your status. I suppose they do this to keep their options open just in case they need to fill last minute spots.

Hey there,

I hate to bring this up again, since it doesn't seem like anyone knows the answer but I have to ask. I just recently had my interview and it didn't go as well as I would have liked. At best, I may get waitlisted. Anyone know the stats for waitlist/rejections after an interview?

Thanks!

~300 interviews. 80 acceptances at UCSF. You do the math.
