I am still having difficulty converting ucla secondary to PDF. Can someone explain it to me step by step?😛

This is what I did:

1. Filled in the blanks in the app, printed out, signed and dated.

2. Scanned the 15 pages into the computer on Grayscale & 150 resolution (they don't accept PDFs over 5mb; I had originally scanned in Color & 300 resolution, had to do it over because the resulting PDF was 15mb). Labeled Page 1 "1", page 2 "2", etc.

3. Downloaded CutePDF. Selected all my JPG scans, right-clicked on "1" (important! or else it's out of order), Print via CutePDF, save the PDF on computer.

Microsoft office has the "save as pdf" function. or you can download the adobe acrobatX trial version and that allows you to do everything, for 30 days.

thank you so muccccccccccccch. I can't wait to fill it out and sleep for few days😡 UCSF,Penn, North carolina and now this one lol

I used "Nitro PDF Reader" (which is free) which u can download at download.cnet.com, not only did it let me edit and save my app, it also let me scan my signature and digitally place it on the pdf so I never had to print/scan the whole app 😀

ps. make sure you fill out the WHOLE app before you save it, cause i found that sometimes Nitro PDF Reader only lets you save once, every other time after just corrupts the file.

This process cost me ~3 bucks and is pretty straight forward...
1. fill-in app
2. print app
3. sign and date app
4. go to to local staples, office depot, etc. with your printed app and a jumpdrive
5. ask store's print center to scan your app (all 15 pages at once) and put the file onto your jumpdrive
6. pay ~$3 and leave store
7. submit pdf file that now exists on jumpdrive to ucla - the file will contain all 15 pages in one pdf file
8. relax and have a beer

Nice dude!

Actually I found out that you just have to click "file" and then "Save as" a pdf in Nitro PDF Reader and it won't corrupt anything.

Both ways are fine, but I preferred my way cause I didn't have to print anything, I didn't have to go anywhere, and it was free 😀
