UCLA status change? anybody!?

Now that jan 15 has come and gone, has anyone gotten a status change post interview in the last few days? i cant imagine anyone at the ucla admit office accepted anyone on the 15th as promised, seeing as it was the SATURDAY OF A LONG WEEKEND (!), why did they tell us they would? oh man i am freaking out about this school. anyway if anyone is updated or accepted this week please post your interview date, ect. thanks!

No status change for me and I interviewed in October. I suspect that we will hear something this week.

And chill out. 🙂 Jan. 15th is an arbitrary date that they pick every year. It just happened to be a Saturday this year.

I also interviewed early in the process and got no status change as of january 18th. However, I know that some people who didn't get interviews got their status changed to "fiinal decision letter sent" meaning that they got rejected as of tuesday, jan. 18, so the rejection letters are on the way out.

---btw, if we get waitlisted, does that count as a final decision letter, or will we get no word until we open our mailbox??

i got the post-secondary final decision notification on jan 10 but havent actually recieved anything which seems funny. anyway, good luck to those waiting post-interview

I got post-secondary final decision on Jan 10. Just got the thin envelope today, postmarked Jan 14. I live in LA, by the way.

yep, post-secondary final decision yesterday for me, dated Jan. 10 and posted to my status page with that same date. 🙁 Hang in there to everyone else!

I would assume that it would still count as a "final decision letter."

Does anyone know if the ucla acceptance comes in a big packet or a regular envelope like some other schools???
