UCLA Student Interview

Does anyone know if there's any significance as to whether or not we received a student interview at UCLA? I didn't have one scheduled but several people who interviewed on my day got them. Any help would be appreciated.

I actually asked one of our MS4 tour guides and she mentioned that it has no bearing on your application except for that fact that you'll have one instead of two representative in the adcom meetings. But whether or not they assigned you one was just sort of random. When I did interview all the med students were in midst of examinations so it was hard to assign one to each applicant.
