Last year it was by mail. This year it was by e-mail. I got it 5 days ago.

What is you take on this question:

Have you previously or are you are currently applying for admission to a health science or professional school, including dentistry? If yes, indicate the type of program(s), year(s) applied, and whether you were accepted and/or enrolled (including dates of enrollment).​

It looks like anyone applying this cycle would have to answer this yes because we are currently applying to a professional school that includes dentistry. However this answer would be a little misleading because at the same time I have not previously applied to dental school, nor have I applied or am currently applying to a different type of professional school.

This seems like a combination of different questions I have answered in supplemental apps all wrapped up into one.

Maybe the second part of that wants us to list all of the dental schools we are currently applying to?

I said that I'm applying to multiple schools for the Fall 2008 DDS/DMD program and that this was my first time applying.

i don't think they are allowed to ask us for a list of dental schools we applied to because it can be a bases for discrimination. however, if i was asked that, i would hesitate to answer it. i really wouldn't know what to do honestly lol.

They can access that info on AADSAS anyways I believe

Well, the UNLV supplemental clearly asks to list all other programs.

I think I’ll do something like that as well. Now reading it back it states to list the “type of program(s),” not to list all of the individual schools within a program.

So I guess if one was applying to dental, medical, podiatry, and pharm school, each of those categories would have to be listed.

Yeah, I was really confused about that question too at first.

Are you filling it out by hand since it's a MS word document and not a PDF?

I recieved it recently by email and going to fill out the tiny detailed part by hand because its hard to fill out the word doc without messing it all up, but typing up the answers to their short questions.
