does this mean that they hold you and they dont tell you anything until march and then they surprise you with a latelate rejection letter??

yeah me too! I sent my secondary applications to both and I haven't heard anything. I guess we might have applied late or as you said they just want to politely reject us😱

I am not attending ucsf either 🙁 . it's sort of painful to turn down one of my 2 top choices, but I guess it's a good news to those of you who are waiting for spots to open up. Good luck!
