So I called Uconn yesterday and have emailed Pitt last week (they never responded and I don't want to bug them) and Uconn said they havent rejected anyone and that they still have pre-dec interviews to give away. Is there even a shot at these schools anymore? I don't understand why I havent heard anything from any school in over a month. I feel like a lot of people are like that too but its highly frustrating!

For Pitts, you can contact other ADCOMS because Rose is out of office. But serious inquires only. Don't bug them with general stuff that you can find on their website. And also I was told email works better than phone call.

Hey, I don't want to be the spreader of bad news and/or rumors but I have a friend whos father is a professor at UConn and has been an adcom before and he emailed me (I asked my friend to help me out lol) saying Uconn specifically likes Northeastern students because they believe they are more likely to attend uconn then say a cali or texas resident who have multiple state schools to choose from. Moreover, I hope you get an invite if they have some left like the guy above said there is still a chance! However, when i had my interview I am almost positive they said they do not interview past december and usually fill up their class mid december and don't even need to go to a waitlist. Just my $0.02. good luck!!!

Uconn sends out all of their acceptances on December 1st, but don't give up if you are not from the Northeast. I am from North Carolina and I had an interview there in September, so there is hope for the non-northeasterners but not a lot of time left. I did talk to a fourth year at uconn who interviewed the second to last day in November, and got in December 1st.
