Is UConn actually OOS-friendly for applicants that don't live in the northeast?!

Well I can say that in the 2014 ADEA book for the 2013 entering class there were 23 accepted in-state and 20 accepted OOS and out of those 20, only 3 were NOT from the northeast(WA,TX,GA)

When I visited for a pre-dental day, the director of admissions told me (I'm OOS, but New England) that over 2/3 of their admissions offers went to out of state, but that they have a higher yield in state which is why more than 50% of the class ends up being from CT.

I think @GBP12 is giving you the enrollment/matriculating numbers, which is different from the accepted numbers.
