Hi All,
I just got accepted to Columbia and UConn and am leaning towards UConn for sure, but wanted to know what some of you thought regarding differences and similarities between the schools and if anyone has a preference of their own. The reason I am posting this is simply because both schools seem very similar to me and I wanted some feedback as to what really separates them aside from the obvious factors I have listed below:
Similarities: both have med school integration for years 1 and 2, and both are pass/fail
Differences: UConn has a class size much smaller than that of Columbia (38 vs. 75)
I know schools aren't generally ranked but how do you think these two compare in regards to board scores and overall reputation/ specialty matching?
I think I may want to specialize so I'm taking that into strong consideration.
I appreciate any feedback, goodluck to all of you!!
