How far is UCONN from Bradley International Airport (BDL)? Any kind of public transportation from BDL to UCONN? Looks like Taxi ride is at least $100 (round-trip). Is UCONN in a safe neighborhood? If it is I may be better off renting a car.

UConn is in what I call a New England desert.

UConn is in a town called Farmington. It is the real meaning of "in the middle of the woods"!! your best bet is to rent a car from Bradly. bring a ajacket, its getting cold here.

is that a safe area? how much did you pay? I haven't received the list of hotels. Connecticut seems to do things in reverse. I 1st received an invitation letter and one day later I received a letter stating that my application was complete and would be reviewed soon. 😱 I may receive the list of hotels after my interview. 😉
