UCSD Electives

Hello. I am a 4th year medical student in Chicago . I was wondering if anyone did a fourth year extramural elective at University of California, San Diego. If you did, which one did you do and if you know, which rotations have no/little call. The reason I ask is that I will be taking this elective in December, during interviews. Thanks for any input. Doodpac, have you already submitted your app for the rotations?
According to the packet it can take up to 6-8 wks to know if you have
a rotation at UCSD.

I'm doing a rotation there next month. My rotation is only 8-9 hrs/day with no weekends.

HOWEVER, this is obviously rotation dependant. I don't think you'll get much info here... you should e-mail Barbara Swapp to ask her about it. It truly depends on what ur doing.

I already submitted my app for the rotation and have been approved for electives at UCSD for December.
