UCSD MSTP and Scripps

Hi all,

I'm currently applying several MST programs, one of which is UCSD's. I'm very interested in this school and would like to know more about the possibility of doing research at Scripps during the graduate portion. If there are any UCSD MSTP students here, or others who are familiar with the program, I'd value any insights you might be able to give me.

On a related note, has anyone gotten any interviews yet for UCSD?

Just FYI, it wouldn't affect you, but I remember reading a year ago or so that Scripps had anounced they were raising money to start their own medical school and enroll the first class in like 2012 or something like that.
