Does anyone know if maintaining a high gpa at UCSB is easier or if the premed atmosphere at UCSB is less cut throat?

Sorry, I am unfamiliar the humanities, but from what i know (having graduated from UCSD), maintaining a high gpa at UCSD is doable. You just need to keep on top of everything.
