UCSD Secondary

I know some of you have gotten the UCSD secondary a couple of days ago. I was wondering for those who applied to UCSD, did you guys all receive the secondary even if you had ok GPA and MCAT? I'm still waiting for mine.

They wouldn't give me the secondary until I faxed in a copy of my Green Card 🙁

I'm not sure what your stats are but since the UCs screen, some applicants won't get a secondary (or will receive one later on).

anyone got the ucsd's sec recently? i've gotten all the other UCs except this one, so just checking when their batches are coming out.

They said one batch immediately after getting secondaries but they said they will send out the next (bigger) batch in Nov.

It says it on their website, I've already received and submitted the UCSD secondary, though.

They changed the wording on the secondary invites... this is what it says now...

After a review of the AMCAS applications, a small percentage of applicants are immediately invited to submit secondary application materials. In addition to this group of "immediate invites", we will invite many more applicants that were originally placed "on hold" to submit secondary application materials.

They've sent out at least 2 batches. My friend got it pretty much one month after the first batch was sent out. (and you have one month to turn it back in) So I would assume, they'll probably send out another batch ~sep 9th if they don't send one out before that.
