hi! i'm new here. i got the interview email, but i still haven't received the mail package. im not in the states right now. I really wanna know what's in that package. can anyone scan it or take a picture of that and send that to me? i was interviewed there last year, the package consist of how to prepare kilgore teeth for gold crown that its... there re also free practice sessions at ucsf, you can utilize their lab. for five evenings for free, you might have got the schedule... best of luck..

i'm Female. Hotel price near ucsf is really expensive. Also, if possible, wanna share a car,too
I will go there by air and will arrive at 3:30pm in 10/12

don't worry, last year they asked gold crow preparation for lower molar and an upper central incisor, you have use your instruments during practice session (which are not mandatory) usually they give 5 evenings to practice... during exam they will provide you with instruments... kilgore teeth are use...interview is usually friendly... one faculty and one staff member will interview you... although this year there can be some changes as this year they announced interview quite late and usually the bench test followed by interview at UCSF are after UOP but this year they are before. The bench test material will reach to you via regular mail very soon.

There will also be a technical exam demo throughout the week before the IDP Applicant Day.

I got "alternate status". The email does not say whether it's medium or high priority. Is anyone getting a "high priority alternate status" email this year? I heard last year there were medium and high priority.

i had a doubt regarding the ucsf essay q
If you were employed while obtaining your dental degree, how many hours a week did you work, and what was the nature of your employment?

does employed mean being employed for a payment? or could it also mean employed at as association/organization/volunteer work ? i think i know the answer but just wanned to confirm.

Its supposed to be a paragraph of maximum 4-5 lines. anything more than that becomes too much.
They are asking about employment i.e. i think they are asking about a paid job...otherwise there was another question with volunteering ,extra curricular etc. asking about non paid work.
Like students in US work, get paid and side by side study from which they pay their tuition.
So I think employed with a salary.

At the moment I'm trying to get transcripts , they are charging for them but still haven't recieved any notice of them being made or any sight of it happening. I think I would have to fly back in order to get the work done.

I am planning to apply for UCSF before deadline i.e July 15th. But my TOEFL score is 90 which is less than the min required. I am planning to retake it again. I am confused whether to apply to this University or not. Can i apply to the university now and update the toefl score later even after the deadline.???
