Okay so I've been reading SND for a while and never posted but now I feel like I actually have some information that may be useful to other people so time for me to stop taking advantage of the system and start contributing!

So I am in the 8/15 UCSF group and just got a secondary yesterday (11/7)! I found out by checking the status page but also got an email today. I am in-state and do not have stellar stats... maybe they were just waiting to look over all of the applications before giving out the rest of them. So if you have not heard it seems like you still have a chance.

Oh, you're killing me! I had made peace with my impending rejection. Now you've given me hope. AAAAAHHHHHHHH! I'm an August MCATer too, which I'm sure will delay things even more. It doesn't help that UCSF is my top choice.

Apparently my rejection came a few days ago, but nobody had the heart to tell me, which is fine, I still cannot bring myself to go read it. there goes my top pick. btw, i was rejected post-secondary, so for those of you that submitted secondaries a few months ago, be warned!

I called UCSF this morning, since it's been over 3 months since 8/15. Turns out they never received my change of address from AMCAS, so in all likelihood, my rejection is floating around somewhere in New Orleans. They wouldn't tell me if they've sent anything to me or not, so I guess I'll just have to wait and see if they send it to my new address. Does it show up on your status page if they've rejected you? I'm still getting the "Thank you. We are reviewing your application" message. 🙁

No, if you're rejected, the status page doesn't change.
