Hi, I am an undergrad student shooting for acceptance at UCSF DPT program. Looking for people who have got accepted there recently. Just wondering what kind of stats will grant me acceptance. Looking for any tips for the up coming years. Thanks.
Well I wasn't accepted but I was number 7 on the waitlist and decided to go to Loma Linda instead. The competition is pretty steep. You basically cannot get anything other than an A in any basic science courses like chem and bio and it would be beneficial for you to have ALOT more hours than their 150 minimum, as your competitors will have a lot of experience.Hi, I am an undergrad student shooting for acceptance at UCSF DPT program. Not entirely true...I had B- in all my chem courses, and a mixture of A's and B's in the rest of my pre-reqs. My total GPA was around 3.3 and pre-req was around 3.6. I was accepted to UCSF after the interview (though I have since declined). The point is, make sure you have competitive stats, but don't stress if everything isn't an A. Do make sure that you at least meet their minimum GRE reqs, and try to surpass them. After that, just rock the interview and you'll be fine.
Hello,
I am applying to PT school this summer and I am aiming for UCSF. I was wondering how much do the rec letters weigh in their application decision? Do they look for big names or more at what you have done in your rec letters?
