And you know what that means ... it will be difficult to tell whether it is an acceptance or a waitlist or a rejection when the envelope comes in the mail! The waitlists/rejections come on the first of every month, starting in January.

y'all need to chill. we are kinda slow here. took them 17 weeks to get back to me with an acceptance. i know it is hard, but relax. i remember that they'd usually go out every month around the 20th or so. people would start getting them on the west coast, then i'd get excited. and as far as not knowing the difference between an acceptance and waitlist...the big envelope has love written all over it. in addition to that, getting on the waitlist doesn't mean it is over. i have lots of classmates that got in off the waitlist. try to distract yourself and hang out with friends, etc. don't be a slave to the mailbox. easier said than done. good luck.

I got in exactly a year from today. It made for a very happy holiday. Keep your fingers and don't stress; just remember that if you've interviewed at UCSF, you've got pretty good chances you'll get in (relative to interviews at other schools). Good luck!

I interviewed in early October. However, I had a lot of interviews in the first two weeks of October, so the dates are still fixed in my head.

But I think that clockitnow is an MSTP candidate, so maybe their admissions process might be a little different?

Are you a UCSF student? Any inside word on what's happening?

Sorry guys, I didn't check my interview packet. I interviewed on October 18th. Hope it makes more sense now =). I did also apply MSTP. The interview date for that was October 19th and we don't find out until March.

I just found out today!! (and am in NYC right now). I was SOOO excited!! My roommates weren't home from work yet and i screamed and ran around my apartment. Then i realized i may have been freaking out some neighbors (who may have thought I was being attacked or something).

I interviewed pretty early and didn't get anything (and I live in CA) so I think that means they don't love me afterall. Rejection from my top choice school hurts. 🙁

The status page doesn't change...it still says "invited for interview."
