Bottom half over here too! Nothing elicits my self-worth like telling me that if there were a game of kickball in life, I would definitely be picked near the end. For what its worth I am content with this decision by UCSF. Instead of having the easy way out of saying "I will go to UCSF if I get in," I will actually have to think for myself and make a decision on where to go. Good luck to you all, and if its meant to be I hope you guys get in at SF.

very excited to report that there has indeed been some movement-- got an acceptance letter in San Francisco on Saturday 5/20. Interviewed in 11/05, High Priority 2/06, top-half alternate list 5/4/06, and I'm definitely going. Good luck to everyone still waiting!

I got an acceptance letter too after being waitlisted top-half. I am SO excited but this makes my decision so much harder since I was already set on going to UCLA. Ahhhh!

Probably a ridiculous question, but I take it you were in the "top half" of the waitlist people according to the letter back in early May.

I got the big package in the mail yesterday. It was postmarked on June 9. I was in the top half.

Yes, probably out of the question, since every time I call, they repeat, "I'm sorry, but I cannot release any information..."

So I see some of us are still waiting? I'm part of top half as well, but have heard nothing yet...do you guys think there's a chance this late in the game? I mean, I hate to think about it, but it's July...they should AT LEAST tell us where we are on the list, seriously... but then again, I guess being on the waitlist means we aren't entitled to anything...

hey how strict is ucsf with the "4 weeks" for "all" secondary materials to be submitted...and whats happens if you take longer? 😴

some schools have started but not all schools. A couple start in september. Did you get in else where? If so, then maybe you might want to give the ucsf office a call to see what's up. Wish you all the best

Called in today. Class size is still steady, so no movement. I'm figuring there pretty much won't be any...lady on the phone said to call back in 2 weeks...blah...time to let it sink in...."you're not going to UCSF, pobrecito, stop crying."
