I'm at Pacific and during my OS rotation the other day, I had THREE referrals from UCSF. One from their OS dept, one from ortho, one from general clinic.

They were all dentical...suspicious!

Do you all at UCSF no longer take dentical? I know the rates are rock bottom, but there are a bunch of denti-cal patients at Pacific. What gives?

We no longer take Dentical. It's not a UCSF decision, as the orders came from the state. The University of California's broke.

I think the issue isn't with any of the schools, but rather that the state of California just cut funding from the denti-cal program altogether. I haven't confirmed this but I've heard it from several students from other california schools. This means bad news for each of the schools as a large percentage of the patient pool is denti-cal. :scared: I'm hoping I can still squeek out of here this year. Hopefully they'll figure something out.

Oh yea. Oops. Two independent problems. We're broke, and no Dentical.
