UCSF and UCLA

I've got an interview offer from Penn, USC, and UMD.

UCSF kept emailing me to ask me to turn in my transcripts and DAT scores and now that I"ve done that (in early november), I have not heard anything back from them.

I keep being told that I'm under review at UOP.

Columbia, UCLA and Howard did not respond to me.

Is there any way to check my status at these schools?

E-mail Noemi at UCLA. That's the only way you can check your status. As for UCSF they keep their website fairly up-to-date: dentistry.ucsf.edu/webtools. Just go and check that to see where you stand. UoP has a similar website which can be found on their school website.

As for UoP, they fill up extremely fast. If you are still under review at the end of this month, you might as well forget it.

As for UCSF, expect the next round of acceptances very soon, maybe a week or so. They do not over accept and the second round is almost exactly 45 days after the first (Dec 1st this year).

On a side note, if UCSF is personally calling you and asking for transcripts and letters and stuff to make sure your app is complete, that is a VERY GOOD thing!
