how is the area around ucsf area in San Francisco? Just wondering how safe the area is 🙂 thanks!

It's safe. Like all major cities, there are bad parts, but UCSF is located in a beautiful area 🙂

It's in one of the nicer areas I've interviewed at. Much nicer than Newark, Philly, Cleveland, etc.

It's pretty safe, safer even than UoP's location in downtown SF. UCSF is near Ocean Beach and the Golden Gate Park.
