Hey guys. I know UCLA is has a reputation for placing students into specialty programs, but what of UCSF? Is it much the same, or is it more clinical training? Comments from current UCSF/UCLA dental students would be great! Thanks.
ucsf is decent in clinical and dictatics. i wont say they are great at either one thing. we have way too many specialties here and a lot of things end up getting referred out. if you want superior clinical, go to uop.

it varies. none of us really lack patients. but it's not that easy to find good patients. what i mean by good patients are those who actually need work done, have money to pay for it all, or flexible to come in according to your assigned schedule.
less than a handful of us actually ask family or friends to come in for work.
there are a few of us who are behind on requirements but most of us are willing to trade so everyone gets what they need.
