Hi guys-
I have an interview at UCSF on the 30th. I just wanted to hear how the interview experience was for other people. What was your overall impression? Also, if you got accepted, how long after the interview did you have to wait? Im nervous because I have heard that this is a tough interview and that you get interviewed by 2 different faculty members. Is this true? Any help would be appreciated!

I got my interview in november

It's not 2 faculty, it's one random faculty member and one student. Don't sweat the entire interview day. It was the most laid back out of all the schools I interviewed at.

Here is some excellent advice: be yourself. Be upbeat. Be happy. Smile and have a good time. Be excited.

In a nutschell, this is what UCSF wants:

1) Maturity and/or life experience
2) Community orientated.
3) Upbeat, outgoing and friendly attitude

If you have those then you have a great shot at getting in. Be yourself and don't be uptight.
