Where is the cheapest place to stay for the UCSF interview? Flight is going to be around $400 already so I really need to find someplace cheap to stay? Any suggestions?

The cheapest place I could find was the Carl Hotel. They charge $69 for a student rate per night and the hotel is really close to the dental school. Don't ask me how fancy it is cuz I haven't gone yet, but I don't care as long as its the cheapest.

You can find the hotel on the school's website and make a reservation over the phone.

OK, although I'm sure the stories would be interesting and I could talk about how I empathize with under served population better after sleeping with the homeless, I'm not sure I would still have my suit In the morning and might be a little hungover.

Thanks for the tip about the Carl Hotel, is it within walking distance from the school?

Does anyone else know of a cheaper place? Any hostels nearby?

On an unrelated note, what is the format of the UCSF interview?
