Just got an e-mail with the invite. Too late to schedule now must call tomorrow. Recovering from shock right now.
Of the 213 in-state applicants interviewed there last year, 106 were accepted . I like those odds! Congratulations Fonz, I'm extremely jealous! UCSF is top notch.
From the ADEA Guide to D-schools.How did you find out about that?

I'm pretty sure not everyone gets the secondary...also, I was a NY resident at the time and was accepted. As I recall, on my interview day (pre-december 1) there were definitely a handful out out-of-state students. I would definitely suggest applying even if OOS!
IN TEARS! I GOT AN INTERVIEW!!!! MY DREAM SCHOOOOOOOL! OMG OMG OMG...TOTALLY EXCITED...BEYOOOND EXCITED!
they updated my status on AADSAS
is it me, or everyone seems to be getting interview according to AADSAS?
on their website, it says that I am still "under review", I haven't gotten any mail or email, but AADSAS says I am invited for an interview. It's been 2 weeks since I submitted my secondaries.
Is this the same with everyone?
Don't worry. I'm sure your guys are fine. Congrats all

same with mine...except UCSF hasn't updated their status webpage since 8/29. as for all these people getting invites...it doesn't seem that farfetched. consider any other invite process, i.e. nova...the reason it seemed as if they weren't interviewing that many people at a time was because they mailed out the invites and so everyone got them at different times, and they assigned an interview date.
besides, as far as sdn goes, only 11 of us have been granted interviews via aadsas...that's not all that unbelievable.
anyway, i'm going to go ahead and believe it. hopefully i'm right and we can all take a deep breath come next week 😎
did your AADSAS status change as well before you received your email?
Hopefully this isn't a technical error by UCSF / AADSAS
