UCSF p/f Grading

I know that UCSF is pass/fail but I cannot remember if there are any other distinctions such as honors or epr's. Also if there are other distinctions are they simply internal or will they show up on your transcript?

i remember they said that the professors will award commendation letters to those who excelled in his or her classes. these letters then will be included on ur overall "file". So Im sure this is kinda like honors..

Does anyone know if the commendation are kept on an internal file (only seen from within UCSF) or on an external file (seen by all).
