Hey guys!

Thought I'd get this thread started! I submitted my application late Feb and it was completed/marked as "Under Review" in early March. My status hasnt changed since, nor have I hear back from admissions.

Anybody else apply? hear back? have experience with the program? Pro's? Con's?
 
I have not heard back from the program either. Has anyone gotten any interviews?

I received an email from the Assistant Dean of Admissions last week, and it said they will be giving out interviews within 1-2 weeks. Seems pretty accurate since the deadline for the notification date is May 1st. Btw were you applying for the Medical or Dental Post-Bacc?
 
Dental. Are you a urm? Good luck on the process and hope to get an invite some time.
 
Hey guys. I recieved an interview invitation for both UCSF and SFSU post bacs. I believe that they will be calling until the deadline so don't worry, you might recieve a call within next week 🙂
 
When did you receive the call? When did you submit your app? Congrats!
 
Thank you very much ! I applied to UCSF the very first day and I got a call last Friday. I applied to SFSU on the day of the deadline (April 1st) and recieved a call today.
 
When are the interviews? Did you receive any emails from them?

Sure 🙂 Both interviews are next week and I applied to Dental Post bac.

The UCSF interview was one on one. There were two people interviwing me and the duration was about 30 minutes. They asked multiple questions regrading my community services and dental volunteering experiences. Also, they asked questions regarding my disadvantage status. The director told me that this was the first week of interview and there will be more interviews taking place in the next two weeks. So don't get your hopes up yet ! They are still calling for interviews 🙂

How many people showed up the day you interviewed?
 
It was only me. However, SFSU interview was more complicated. 15 candidates showed up and we were all interviewed twice for a total of 40 minutes. First one was open file and the second one was closed file.

Awesome! Thanks! Btw I was also looking at the 'UC Post Bacc" thread and saw your post. Was the UCSF program through the UC Consortium application the same program as this UCSF Dental Post-Bacc we applied too?
 
I applied directly to UCSF dental post bac through same link you provided on the "UC Post Bacc" thread.
 
Is anyone else is having problem accessing UCSF Dental Post-Bacc applicaion page? I was trying to check my status but the main link is gone !

Hey guys, I just heard back from UCSF post bacc dent. I got accepted!!! If anyone else gets accepted please update me, I'm from NJ and don't know anyone in California

Do you get notified by email or phone? I had my interview on 04/28/2014 but haven't heard anything else.
 
I had it last week on monday and heard back from them sometime last week.
 
DT2, how was your interview? sorry I didn't get time to reply back about the skype interview.

I read all the comments and I am nervous. I applied to the post-bacc program at SFSU too (medical) and I have not heard ANYTHING from them. I applied for the summer but then I was able to push it for the fall. Is that why it is taking forever? I am planning to call tomorrow but I am anxious.
I also applied to the UC consortium but I have not been invited for an interview (or at least I want to get an email saying that Im rejected). I want to hear back already 😱 Although I have a bad feeling about that UC's application. I had some problems with my recommendations getting there on time. Sigh.
Has anyone that applied for the fall heard back from them yet?!?!
