I have a quick question and would appreciate it people could offer me some advice (this is my first post).

I've recently gotten accepted into UCSF. UCSF has been my dream school since forever, and with that comes strange paranoia that creeps up (fear of having the acceptance taken away). I've recently gotten my grades for winter quarter and I got 2 B's. Even though my gpa is only a 3.7, I haven't gotten 2B's in awhile. Will that affect my admissions status so much? Also, is there a minimum gpa that I need to maintain? USC and UOP said i had to maintain at least a 3.0 or 2.7. UCSF's letter didn't mention anything like that.

Please let me know what you guys think! I really appreciate it. ^_^

Hey UCDgirl. Congrats on getting in! 👍 I'll be joining you in september! I think the only condition is that you finish your pharmacy prereqs before Sept. 1 with a C or above and follow all the other technical stuff (like submit ur transcripts on time, deposit, etc.) at least that is how I interpret the acceptance letter. See you in the fall! I'm super excited about moving to SF!

from here on out, you can take all your ucsf prereqs for pass/no pass (you can do so b4 you are accepted but again, they'll just assume you did the bare minimum to get the lowest passing grade). i called and they said it was okay to do this.

don't worry about it at all! They believe in you and will do anything and everything to make sure you complete the program. They told us the only way out is if you CHOOSE to leave.

Therefore, they'll work with ya, B's will not change your admission status.

Congrats and get ready for UCSF!

Congratulations on your acceptances!! We are all looking forward to meeting each of you in the fall! You'll love it here- it's great! 🙂
You only need a minimum grade of C in your remaining undergrad classes. (Gosh...2 Bs?? You obviously weren't working hard enough...hehe j/k! A 3.7 is awesome!) You only need to maintain a minimum 2.0 in your classes here in order to go onto rotations your 3rd year (but don't worry, I don't know anyone that has a 2.0.!)
Good luck and enjoy the rest of your college life! 🙂
