UCSF is the frontier, when it comes to rejecting people.
They interviewed me last year with lower DAT stats. This year, I improved my DAT and I had an overall stronger application. Yet, they rejected me without even interviewing me

So.. if my stats suck compared to yours, should I just wait for a rejection? It seems like they forgot about me -- haven't heard anything at all. Ohh well. They were my "reach" school anyway.

At least you haven't had a rejection yet!
You never know. Last year they interviewed me with a DAT of 19, and this year they rejected me with a DAT of 22

It's San Francisco! Comon, you HAVE to expect things to be a bit cooky.

On a serious note, I think UCSF is a school that looks "beyond the dat".....

I'm a walking proof of that 🙄

so if i dont hear from them by monday the 30th, is that a good or bad thing? and also do they give out all the rejections by Dec 1st?
the only reason that i am concerned is because i did horrible on the essay portion.
