UCSF has just sent an email with Provisional Acceptance to their candidates. It is provisional because they have to validate everyone's credentials before giving full acceptance.

I am happy to report that I have been accepted. Best of luck to all of you!

congratulations for all who got accepted at uscf..i am wondering when did people who got accepted sent their applications,,i always realize that people who send their applications late dont get accepted..can any one tell me when did they start sending their application to the universities..may be next year i start applying to schools..

Hi gsmm,
I don't really think that when you sent your application matters that much as long as you send it before the deadline. I sent my applications one or two days before the deadline. I only applied in UCLA,UCSF and UOP and got interview calls for all three.

Congratulations to all of u. So, ritu and Indian Dentist, what will it be for u? UCSF or UCLA? I think for Ritu14 it makes sense to go to UCSF as u are in the Bay area.. Is UCSF more/less expensive than UCLA?

Hi all:

I spoke to the UCSF folks today and they told me Iam wait listed "high in the waiting list"... I don't know what high means.

They told me if admitted students to the 2004 IDP program reply in negative to the admission by email -- then emails of admission for the wait listed candidates will be sent out based on the waitlisted order.

If there are folks in the forum who have an admission to IDP program and have decided not to join UCSF, pl send in their decisions ASAP by email to Gordon Petri -- that way people like me in the wait list can hope to get a chance.

As many of you know (I think), i got in to both UCLA and UCSF and now i have to decide between them. As i would like to do masters after finishing DDS, i am in a dielemma whether the college from where i graduated does matter or not. Can any one give some suggestions regarding the pros and cons of both the programs. I will very thankful to you.

could someone help me with this please?i want to know ,from anyone who has attended the uop interview,if we have to show the entire fee amount in our account before getting admitted or a part of the fee shown is ok or rather how this whole financial thing works in uop.my interview is coming up soon and i would appreciate any response as i'm very tensed with all these financial doubts.

Worry about that after your get admitted, that's when they'll ask you about it. They'll talk about it in the fin aid session at the interview. Just write down all you finacial questions and ask them at the gathering.

You need not don't worry about the financial stuff right now.They'll talk about the financial matters during the orientation.just relax and concentrate on the interview part and the practicals.
