Does anyone have particular information about the UCSF program? Obviously, it's a great medical center and medical school, but they are in the midst of a change in program directors, and I was wondering about the general word on the street.

Does anyone have particular information about the UCSF program? Obviously, it's a great medical center and medical school, but they are in the midst of a change in program directors, and I was wondering about the general word on the street.

Ellen Haller (the new Program Director) has been directing the Langley Porter outpatient program and as such has been very involved in the teaching of residents. She was also assistant director of the inpatient unit in the past and has been on the faculty for nearly 20 years. Marc Jacobs will be working with her, so one would hope that the transitioning will go smoothly.
