UCSF/SFSU interviews invitations?

So the interview this year will be at the end of January 2013, you'd think by now they'd be sending out invitations.

I'm worried because they ask for a minimum 4.5 on the GRE analytical writing score, they asked me to retake to raise my 4. I retook it, but got hit by a truck while riding my bike the week before and still got a 4 🙁 (raised my math score though), so I'm worried I won't be considered for admission.

This is so stressful.

Same issue here with my GRE score. I applied still because after searching old threads, I saw some folks get interview and accepted still. Have not heard anything yet, should be within this week or next I hope.

I'm in the same boat regarding GRE writing scores (4.0; 49th percentile). Received an e-mail on 11/2 requesting me to re-take by 12/15. I've been too swamped with work and school over the last month though.

UCSF website updated to note that interview invites for the DPT program will be sent out January 4th and 5th with interviews being held in February on the 8th and 9th!

They emailed me to ask I retake the GRE on Nov 2nd.

I also got a 4.0 on the analytical portion but I didn't recieve an email asking me to retake it....good sign or bad sign?

I received that same email asking me to retake the GRE because my analytical writing was 4.0 as well but I did not retake it. I believe they just started sending out interview invitation. I just got my invitation two days ago!

They completely updated their website and it stated that interview notifications are on January 8th

Anyone knows any information about UCSF interview?

for those of you that got emails asking to retake GRE, if UCSF is one of your top schools, I would recommend you do so. Many of the therapists that I work with was on the same boat, they had a low analytical score and was asked to retake, and once they retook the GRE and boosted their score to a 4.5 they were accepted. So seems to me it would be a good choice to do so to increase your chances of acceptance. hope this helps.

Hi, I saw in another forum that some people did get emails from UCSF on Jan.8. I also applied there and have not received anything in regards to getting an interview or even a rejection. I was wondering if anybody else had this issue? I also emailed and called them and have not received anything back. My application still says "under review" so if anybody knows if that means they are not done looking at things? Thanks!

I was in this same situation. If you're like me, then you may have received a rejection email today.
