Take the money, they're both great schools. Not like we're comparing Wayne State vs UCSF here.

Great schools present you with great opportunities, it is up to you to take advantage of wherever you are anyway. I think both of these schools will offer you a good chance at becoming the person you want to be.

michigan is an awesome school. if you can get it for next to nothing, then thats a whopper of a deal. don't pass it up.

In my opinion the difference in location depends on what you like to do in your free time (if you do mostly inside stuff, then there is not as big of a difference, etc). Perhaps being closer to your family is important? I have a friend trying to make the same decision (or perhaps you are her?). Let us know what you decide- I am very interested!
