UCSF writing sample @ interview?

Cristal,
I asked the same question and I was told this: "the essay is very EZ and it is not a big deal.". I did not believe them, but they were right. The essay was EZ. My essay was about issues with cloning.

I don't quite remember, but I believe it had to do with ethics. Anyways, they gave us a good 4.5 minutes for it. Im pretty sure it was meant to see if you could write in English, and nothing more.
No big deal. They said its to see if your handwriting is neat. But they really want to see if you can write in English. It's only a paragraph, not an essay like UCLA's interview asks for. You will be fine 🙂

Just remember that the writing sample is a perfect opportunity to let the school know you are interested in their program. During the interview you will meet with one student and one faculty member. However, the essay will be read by someone else, probably the dean. It may not have helped me but I tried to tie in what I wrote with the UCSF program.
Cristal, when is your interview? I'll be there on Feb. 4.
