they take allot of CC students and they have an articulation agreement with berkeley so you have nothing to worry about.

you need at least 3.7 and anywhere from 30 - 40 mcat

just remember this is a top 10 school. so you need a plethora of extra curiculars as well.

my friend got in with 3.87, and 38. my other friend got in with 3.66 and 40.

but i know who have gotten 3.7 - 3.9 and 30+ mcat go home with rejections.

Are the people who you're talking about all CA residents? I'm non-CA but I wouldn't mind a UCSF acceptance....

had friends with a 4.0/ 35 and 3.65/33 --- numbers is only one facet for ucsf, they like older, more untraditional students that have a unique quality to themselves (like cop turned md, writer for times) -- they can afford to be picky cause they have the biggest bang for the buck plus one of the few to consistently pull people away from hopkins, hms, and other 33+ avg mcat schools

i DO know someone that got in with a 2.8 and a 32 MCAT, ORM too.

yeah for med schools in cali, you have to be a resident.. or your stats have to rape some serious points.
