My friend talked with admissions at UCSF this morning.They said they are not updating aadsas until later and that they will notify people by phone calls later today. I think probably anytime now. So Nervooouuss! I hope I get a call 🙂

oh yah, it's for reals!! i was soo excited i didnt even remember what the person told me after "congratulation, you've been accepted into ucsf school of dentistry class of 2015!"

does anyone know if we don't get a phone call today that means we're not in? or on waitlist or alternate?
it seems to me they started awful late so I'm not sure if all the calls will go out today or will continue to tomorrow

hey you guys! so I know a couple people that got a call that have last names ending in A's. Do you think the calls are alphabetical?

does anyone know when UCSF sends an e-mail out to applicants who they haven't made a decision on? (rejection, still being considered, etc. et.c etc.?

no i didnt... i felt nervous calling in so I forgot to ask more questions... dont know why?
like I wanted to ask them about waitlists, rejections, etc.....
Bummer, I wish I'd get an email telling me I'm waitlisted so I'll stop thinking about this constantly!

another reason to be sad: extra confirmation that all acceptances have been extended
i feel you...it's my top choice too...

60 offers were made in December, there are 88 seats total. I think they usually finalize the class by end of January/early Feb?

Do you guys know the exact date that the next batch of acceptances will go out? And if we had a pre-Dec 1st interview are we still considered for the next batch of acceptances?

I have no idea...but I think someone said that the class is finalized in Feb/March.
Have any of you (those who weren't accepted Dec 1st) received any updates from UCSF? My friend said that last year when she wasn't accepted Dec 1, they e-mailed her saying that no action has been made on her application....I didn't get anything like that...

My status on AADSAS hasn't changed and I haven't received any information from UCSF. Has anyone else?
I haven't heard anything either. My friend said a lot of applicants year got an e-mail saying no decision was made on her application on Dec 1st (if they interviewed pre-dec). I guess theyr'e still working on that? i'm not sure...
My status went from received under review to application complete back to under review on Dec 2nd. Does anyone know what this means? I haven't been invited for an interview yet.
i have no idea, but if you haven't received a rejection--that's a good thing! you're still in the game for an interview. I have friends who interviewed and have already been rejected and others who weren't invited that have been rejected.

Anybody hear any news on what UCSF is up to? I'd tend to believe that most acceptances at this point will be to post dec 1 interviews...seeing that I interviewed nov 1 i'm not liking my chances...but still no rejection so there's hope!
Yeah Im not liking my chances either. I interviewed in October, and its just so painful to wait another month to find out what they want to do with me. I guess I should just be grateful that I haven't been rejected yet. I know they've rejected a lot of really qualified applicants, and so I really shouldn't be complaining.

Also, they have interviews January 1st, 6th, 10th, so......

apparently the admissions committee is out of the office for xmas break until Jan 3....the waiting game continues...
Jan 12th sounds great, any time in Jan sounds great actually. I thought they weren't going to send out another round of acceptances until Feb 1st because it looks like they have interviews going on on Jan 27th.
