Now we are approaching Dec. 3 and I heard nothing back from UDM
I know they will give 200 offers by dec 3 so those who got interviews are almost guaranteed accepted

does that mean having interview post dec is very low chances because they are almost done even after people drop UDM in case they got accepted in different school? they have 148 seats and working to get approved for 160 so they already made extra offers

I am really frustrated and thinking that my chances at UDM is almost nothing now!

No obviously your chances are less now because its later. You have to remember they will probably accept 200 hundred people and only a 100 of those people will go there (if that).

I also think UDM is capping at 148 this year and are approved for 160 but will slowly increase each year until they get there? I am not sure tho.

My interviewer told me they are approved for 160, their facility has the capacity to support 160, however, for our class at least, they will be staying with 148. Also having been there and seen the location of the school, it is my opinion that only a small portion of the two hundred offered on Dec. 3 will attend, I would guess less than 100. I would say a relatively competitive applicant stands a decent chance of landing a post Dec. interview. Also, for the OP, maybe send them an email asking if your app. is complete and expressing interest in the school. This is what I did (even though I knew my application was complete) and the next day I received an interview invite.

so incoming class for class of 2017 would be 148 not 160? I thought it was 160.

What are your stats if you don't mind sharing? I am considering applying there next cycle but not sure my stats are good enough

Can you share what other schools you have called and got favorable results? It will be a great help for us. Thank you! 🙂
Good Luck to all on 12/3 :xf::xf::xf:

That was the only school I contacted, after having not heard anything, and got any response.
