UDM DAT requirement? 20's??

I just took the DAT last week and got decent scores (IMO)
(20 AA, 21 TS, 22 PAT...BUT my QR score is only 17)

One of the schools that I'm planning to apply is Detroit Mercy (Just because I have some relatives there) I just finished reading their application process web page and saw that they underlined, " An applicant should try to achieve competitive scores of 20 or higher in each section."

Does this mean that I should strike this school from my list? This seems like a pretty high requirement.

My GPA is only so-so...3.2ish overall and 3.3ish science.

Absolutely not, its just saying shoot for those scores. Plus your lowest section is your QR, which I think a lot of schools overlook if your other stats are solid. You didn't score a 12 on that section so you're fine.

How can you possibly interpret this as a requirement? It say SHOULD.
