Hello!

Has anyone received a rejection letter/email/call from UDM yet?

Has anyone received a rejection letter/email/call from UDM in the past years before Dec. 3rd?

Do they do their rejections prior to Dec. 3rd or do they wait?

They will call on Dec 3. From my interview section, rejections will go out in about a week after Dec 3. Good Luck!!! :xf::xf::xf::xf::xf::xf:

When did you have your interview??? So they specifically mentioned that rejections will go out after Dec. 3rd? I just read one of your posts on a different thread and I am a tad confused lol

Oct 13 was my interview. If they don't think the student is a good fit, they will let the student know pretty soon. That was what Dr. Jeffers said at the end of our section. Good news is they will make quite a lot of offers, but I am still very worry... :xf::xf::xf:

Me too! I know they said they will be making 200 offers that day, but I am still really worried! I hope they go alphabetically by last name on Dec. 3rd lol

Hey when did you interview? I went there for interview on 10/16. They are going to make 200 offers on Dec. 3rd right? but how many people they are gonna interview prior to dec. 3rd?
I know someone said 300 people on a different thread but is it for pre-dec interviews or pre+post december interviews?

I interviewed on Nov. 3rd.

I had that very same question, but after thinking about it I think they interview 300 total. If it was 300 interviews just for pre-december, then their acceptance rate would be 67% which wouldn't make sense. I believe the actual acceptance rate is around 90%. They also made it very clear in the interview that if you receive an interview, your chances of getting in are really high.

Really? My interview day did not have information sessions or q/a. just interview and tour.
if 300 is for total number of interviews, then we have very good chances of getting accepted!!
Maybe 200 offers out of 250 I guess?

Hey rejection letters will go out in a week after Dec 3rd? is it for those who already had interviews or did not have interviews yet?

They meant the students had interviews GOOD LUCK

I asked this during the group information session on Nov 3rd. They are interviewing about 300 people total, for the entire cycle. They will make about 200 offers on Dec 3rd. The rest will be on the wait list. I was told they don't reject many of the people they interview. Students not granted an offer for admission are placed in an unranked "waiting pool" that is continuously reviewed each time they have to choose someone to make an offer to. Offers are NOT handed out from the waiting pool based on some "ranking formula". They then reject the remaining applicants when the class is filled and the school year is getting ready to start up.

Also, these rejections I'm speaking of are only for those granted an interview. If you haven't received an interview, they will interview until January or so, and then close up shop. Rejections will most likely go out to those that haven't received an interview some time after December 3rd, as was already mentioned.

Good luck!
