UDM Status Update (Possible Interview?)

Hey guys,

So I recently moved from Canada to Hong Kong to do some shadowing and dental lab work but realized I forgot to change some of my contact information (most importantly my phone number). Having read on the Interviews/ Acceptances thread for this year's cycle, I saw a few other members who received interview invites by phone which makes my situation more unsettling.

Since AADSAS didn't change the "School Decisions" section until recently, I didn't know what my situation was with schools. To my surprise, the status under School Decision for the University of Detroit Mercy has been changed to "Invited for Interview" on July 22, 2013 (isn't this a little early?). This is weird because I was still in Canada where I could have been reachable by my old phone number. Complicated situation, I know. So I did the obvious thing and tried calling / e-mailing the school back but I haven't heard anything back within that last 2 days and am starting to get a little antsy. Do schools rescind their interview offers if I miss a call? Anyone else have this status with UDM?

Any help would be much appreciated 🙂

They should not rescind the interview offer I think. Just keep calling them, they should give you an October/Nov interview date...

You are not alone. I had the same problem changing my status on AADSAS without notifying me via email or phone call first. I spoke with the adcom- I had to send some additional materials to her, but I recall her saying that she will be out of office until Monday. So I guess try calling back next week? You most likely have an interview. The dates are Oct 9 or Nov 5 to choose from.
