Has anyone heard from the University of Florida yet? Or know when we should start hearing something back? I only applied to UF, NOVA and UCF with UCF being my top choice. I got an interview there but won't know for a while. NOVA accepted me but I have to reserve my spot by December 5th. I don't want to turn down NOVA without hearing something from UF incase I don't get UCF. What should I do??

Personally, I think there's just too much at stake to let that Nova acceptance pass you by. There's a chance it will end up being your only acceptance, you know?
Is it a thing to put in your deposit for a school, and later tell them no? Is that allowed? I mean you lose the deposit if you decide not to go, but in the mean time, you secure your spot while other schools are deciding. Do you have the funds available to do something like that?

Pay your deposit, eat it if you have to, but don't take the chance.

At the earliest, you won't hear from UF til January. Latest like April.
I applied to UF last year and heard in mid November. It all depends when you turn in your application and how speedy they are.
Did you try asking NOVA for an extension? a lot of times, schools are willing to give you some extra time to turn in the deposit if you're waiting on other programs. They know that it's a crazy schedule.

I recently received an email from UF confirming they received my application. They also said "Our program sends out admission decisions via mail to the address indicated in your PTCAS application. These are sent out on a rolling basis with the majority being sent out between January and March." Hope that helps

I got accepted to UF today=] They are sending the rest of the letters tomorrow so you should find out by this week. Hope that helps and hope to see you in August 🙂

Hey there! I have also been accepted at UF for the class of 2016! Does anyone know if they have created a facebook page yet? I would love to start trying to solidify living accommodations/roommates for next year! 🙂

I got an email stating that I was accepted and that my official letter would be put in the mail. I check my mailbox daily, but the official letter hasn't arrived yet.
