A friend of mine is a D1 at UF and he said that a majority of his class interviewed prior to december 1st. i'm guessing that they will accept about 50 on december 1st (of a class of 82)...but my guess is as good as anybody's..

Dr. Sposetti said that the volume of applications this year is up dramatically....so they may be accepting less people come december 1st (friday!!), but let's hope not 🙂

So if we don't get a phone call on Friday, is there still an OK chance of eventually being accepted? I hope so, I am trying not to think negatively...just curious about acceptance rates 🙂 Thanks

My impression is that not hearing from them on friday if you've interviewed already = not good. I could be completely wrong but I believe that if they want you, they call you. If they don't want you then you're either rejected somehow or another or placed on the infamous alternate list which essentially puts you in limbo until classes start... If I get a call, it's over. If I don't get a call, it's essentially over (at least that's how I'll be taking it).
