UF Interview-need help!!

i have an interview at UF next week, and i really need help organizing the trip. ie, where's the best place to stay, which hotels are closest to the med school???

I didn't apply to UF Med, but I went there for undergrad. The closest hotel to the med school is the University Center right across the street from Shands. It's one of those hotels that used to be nice but is now pretty ghetto. Should be okay for one night though. There is a Ramada on SW 13th street, about a mile from the med school which is decent. If you want to stay in a nicer place, there is a relatively new hotel on 34th street across from the student rec center (I don't remember the name). Good luck w/ your interview.

You could try staying on campus at the Reitz Union, there is a Hotel on the top floors of that building. Also there is a Holiday Inn on 13 street and University Ave that is not bad.
