I'm currently trying to decide between going to UF and UGA in the fall for my undergrad education.
At UGA i'd major in animal health (and most likely also biology).
At UF I'd major in Biology (maybe animal sci).
I love them both, but just wanted some opinions on where I should go.
The price is not a problem.
thanks so much.

You asked a similar question earlier I believe, yeah? Between UF and FU? Best advice I can give is to make a pros cons list for each school. Everyone else is going to have different opinions, but the decision ultimately is yours.

people can tell you all day until theyre blue in the face about the pros and cons of each school, but this is ultimately a very personal decision that you need to make. dont let the opinions of the internet sway you, you should talk to your close friends and family who actually know you and can help you decide. ask teachers and your guidance counselor. ultimately it's not going to matter one way or the other should you decide to pursue vet school in the long run.

You said in your other thread that UGA was your top choice, right?

Ultimately if you love both schools, go where it will be cheapest. Having less undergrad debt will be nice no matter what, but especially if you end up going to vet school.

UGA. Athens is the best. I did my undergrad here though, so maybe I'm biased. 😉

Same. Athens is amazing and UGA has a lot of opportunities to get involved with the vet school. But idk anything about UF.

I'm currently trying to decide which of these programs to join in the fall. I have been accepted into both and have visited them both. So many people say they are both good programs and that I need to just go on what I think about the campus, but I loved them both.
UGA's program counts your first year of vet school as your 4th year of undergrad (if you get into vet school).
But it seems like UF's classes might be better but I'm unsure.
I had once thought UGA was my top, but now I'm completely unsure.
Any help or advice or comments would be so helpful. Thanks.

Go wherever the tuition is cheapest. It truly doesn't matter where you go (excluding the fact that some schools require upper level courses to be taken at 4-year schools) as long as you maintain a competitive application.

There was really no reason to start a new thread for this...you already had a thread where you asked basically this exact same question and got replies.

That said, I would make pro/con lists for both with things like cost of attendance, location, curriculum, etc. Decide which school wins for each category. Go to the one with the most wins.

Remember just because you go to Georgia for undergrad is no guarantee that you will get into UGA vet school. Depending on your classification for vet school UGA has one of the lowest OOS spots available. I don't know if you can gain residency during undergrad or not

I was wondering why I felt I had answered this question for the OP before...
