Hello!

How long did some of you waited for an interview from UF after you submitted your supplemental? I am starting to get concerned about what i wrote on that essay ahahahah! Haven't heard from them :/

I don't think so. I don't know how they review applications but an "admissions coordinator" (does anyone know what this person actually does? Does she have any say in admission? Because I wasn't expecting the call and got nervous on the phone and didn't make the best impression ) from UF called me and said they were just finishing up reviewing my application, which surprised me because I submitted everything as early as humanly possible to them. Not sure why they took so long to get to my application, but okay.

She asked me to send a screenshot of my summer grades from my unofficial transcripts, and then in the weirdest way she was like "and your shadowing... Was that done in November/December?" (that was the last shadowing I've done ). My guess is that she was hinting that I need to get some recent experience. I told her yes but that I had a few shadowing opportunities lined up (I don't, but I'm sure as hell about to 😀).

Point is, she said they had just gone over my application YESTERDAY and I submitted my supplemental 7/23. I don't think anyone is out of the game yet.

I don't think I'm special as much as I'm borderline rejection, haha. And no, she didn't say anything about interviews. She was like "we're just dotting the i's and crossing the t's with your application" and I wanted so badly to say "INTERVIEW HAS I'S AND T'S IN IT, DO I GET ONE?" but I refrained.
